The principle of buzzer
The buzzer works on the principle of Piezoelectricity. When an alternating voltage is applied to it, it will produce mechanical vibration; On the contrary, when a mechanical force is applied to it, it will also generate a voltage signal. Therefore, piezoelectric ceramic buzzer plates can be used as vibration sensors. The voltage signal generated by the piezoelectric ceramic buzzer when subjected to mechanical force is very weak, and it should generally be connected to a voltage amplifier when used as a vibration sensor.

Set the multimeter to the 25V position, gently pinch both sides of the buzzer with your left thumb and index finger, and hold two pens with your right hand. The red pen is close to the potato chip, and the black pen is placed horizontally on the surface of the buzzer. Then, press the thumb and index finger of your left hand tightly, and then release it. Two voltage signals with opposite polarity are generated on the buzzer, causing the pointer to swing right to zero and left to zero, with a swing amplitude of approximately 0.1-0.15V. If the position of the probe is changed and retested, the order of the pointer swing is left swing to zero, right swing to zero. Under the same pressure, the larger the pointer swing, the higher the sensitivity of the buzzer. If the pointer does not move, it indicates internal leakage or damage to the buzzer.
